The photo back indicates that he was working at WMBC radio and also performing at a Detroit cafe. Thomas worked at WMBC from 1932 to 1940 on a local radio show called The Happy Hour Club. He moved to Chicago in 1940 and it was there where he changed his name to Danny Thomas. | ||
