Richard Gerold Purcell Jr. (6 Agustus 1905 – 10 April 1944)[1] adalah seorang aktor Amerika Serikat yang dikenal karena memerankan karakter Marvel Comics Captain America dalam seri film tahun 1943, dimana ia beradu peran dengan Lorna Gray dan Lionel Atwill.[2] Purcell juga tampil dalam film-film seperti Tough Kid (1938), Accidents Will Happen (1938), Heroes in Blue (1939), Irish Luck (1939), The Bank Dick (1940), dan King of the Zombies (1941),
