• Tool of the week
  • User:Luca.favorido/linkypop.js is a script that can be used to search an identifier on an external site. It provides a button to search for an identifier as soon as you type it in the property input field. For example, if you type “ORCID”, an icon with a lens will appear, and when you click it, a new tab will open with the ORCID site looking for the name of the researcher. You can then copy the URL and paste it to Wikidata.

Perubahan terbaru

• Sekarang ini sedang dilakukan peningkatan deteksi pemisahan yang bertujuan untuk perbaikan penanganan diff paragraf yang lebih baik. Selama dua pekan terakhir, kami menyempurnakan ini dalam wiki group0 dan group1. Pada pekan ini, dukungan ini akan diterapkan ke wiki group2. [1]
• Semua halaman Istimewa:Kontribusi pengguna kini menampilkan jumlah suntingan lokal pengguna dan tanggal pembuatan akun. [2]
• Pengguna Wikisource kini dapat menggunakan label prpbengalicurrency untuk menampilkan karakter mata uang Bengali sebagai nomor halaman di dalam tag <pagelist>. [3]
• Dua preferensi telah dipindahkan. Opsi "Enable the visual editor" sekarang ditampilkan di tab "Penyuntingan" di setiap wiki. Perubahan dalam minggu ini

• Mendaftar akun baru sebagai pengembang Wikimedia akan mulai diarahkan ke idm.wikimedia.org, alih-alih melalui Wikitech. Informasi lebih lanjut tentang perubahan sistem ini telah tersedia.

• Fitur Add a Link telah diaktifkan pada Wikipedia Bahasa Minangkabau, Wikipedia Bahasa Melayu, dan beberapa Wikipedia lainnya.
  • Untuk menggunakan fitur ini, buka menu pengaturan-> profil pengguna, aktifkan centang fitur penyunting pemula -> tampilkan beranda pengguna baru, akses halaman Istimewa:Beranda, lalu pilih menu "penyuntingan yang disarankan".
  • Pengurus dapat melakukan konfigurasi lokal terhadap fitur ini.
• MediaWiki versi 1.41/wmf.25 akan diinstal pada seluruh wiki pada tanggal 7 September 2023.

• Tim Developer Wikimedia telah merilis dokumen frontend stable policy yang bertujuan sebagai panduan bagi para pengembang aplikasi berbasis Wikimedia. Dokumen ini menjelaskan berbagai potensi perubahan penting pada kode Wikimedia yang dapat terjadi di masa depan.
• Fitur penyingkat URL artikel wiki akan segera diluncurkan.

• Kini Wikipedia dapat mengingat preferensi penyembunyian kolom "daftar isi" Anda. Jika Anda menyembunyikan kolom daftar isi pada suatu artikel, maka kolom daftar isi untuk artikel-artikel lain akan otomatis disembunyikan.
• MediaWiki UI markup akan dinonaktifkan dan digantikan oleh frontend berbasis Codex - Wikimedia Design System (Vue.js). Panduan migrasi ke Codex dapat dilihat pada artikel ini.
• Konfigurasi gagdet kini dilengkapi dengan daftar namespaces (options : namespaces). Gadget tersebut hanya dapat aktif pada namespaces yang tercantum pada konfigurasi tersebut.
• Matej Suchanek menemukan bug pada ekstensi Abuse Filter yang mengakibatkan jumlah suntingan global (antar-wiki) pengguna tidak terhitung ketika pengguna tersebut mendaftar sebagai pengguna baru pada sub-wiki lain (autocreateaccount). Bug ini telah diperbaiki dengan penambahan variabel "global_account_editcount" pada AbuseFilter.
• Anda dapat ikut bergabung pada acara pertemuan dengan Wikimedia mobile apps teams pada tanggal 28 Oktober 2023, pukul 00.00.
