Vera Songwe adalah seorang ekonom dan eksekutif perbankan dari Kamerun yang bekerja di Bank Dunia sejak 1998. Pada 2015, ia menjadi direktur regional Afrika Barat dan Tengah untuk Kerjasama Keuangan Internasional.[1][2] Ia adalah wanita pertama yang mengepalai Komisi Ekonomi Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa untuk Afrika pada tingkat Sekretaris-Jenderal Tingkat Rendah.[3]
