This template is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code la to include articles in Category:Articles containing bahasa Latin-language text, if the category was created (using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |bahasa Latin |la}}). For example: {{Lang |la |some text in bahasa Latin}}, which wraps the text with <span lang="la">. Also available is {{Lang-la |some text in bahasa Latin}} which displays as bahasa Latin: some text in bahasa Latin.
It is used by {{la icon}} and {{Link language|la}} to display the language of an external link. These templates could add articles to Category:Articles with bahasa Latin-language external links, if the category was created (using {{Non-English-language external links category |code=la |name=bahasa Latin}}).
