Suzanne Collins (lahir 10 Agustus 1962) adalah seorang penulis skenario dan novelis asal Amerika Serikat, yang dikenal sebagai penulis novel trilogi The Hunger Games (yang terdiri dari The Hunger Games, Catching Fire, dan Mockingjay).
Kehidupan pribadi[sunting | sunting sumber]
Collins lahir pada 10 Agustus 1962 di Hartford, Connecticut. Dia adalah putri dari seorang perwira Angkatan Udara Amerika Serikat yang bertugas di Perang Vietnam. Sebagai putri seorang perwira militer, ia dan keluarganya terus-menerus pindah tempat tinggal. Dia menghabiskan masa kecilnya di Alabama, menempuh masa SMA di Alabama School of Fine Arts kemudian lulus dari Indiana University di jurusan Drama dan Telekomunikasi.[2][3]
Collins saat ini tinggal di Newtown, Connecticut, bersama suami dan dua anak mereka beserta dua ekor kucing. Dia adalah seorang penganut Katolik Roma.
