Serak australia (Tyto novaehollandiae), atau yang juga dikenal sebagai burung hantu bertopeng australasia atau burung hantu bertopeng australia, khususnya di Australia, adalah sebuah spesies serak dari Pulau PapuaSelatan dan daerah non-gurun Australia.
Bobot jantan adalah 420 hingga 800 g (0,93 hingga 1,76 pon), sementara betina berukuran lebih besar, dengan 545 hingga 1.260 g (1,202 hingga 2,778 pon).[3][4] Panjangnya berkisar antara 330 hingga 410 mm (13 hingga 16 in) untuk jantan, dan 390 hingga 500 mm (15 hingga 20 in) untuk betina.
