Popocatépetl adalah gunung berapi aktif di negara bagian Puebla Meksiko, dengan ketinggian 5.426 m (17.802 ft) merupakan gunung tertinggi kedua di Meksiko setelah Pico de Orizaba (5.636 m (18.491 ft).

Nama Popocatépetl berasal dari kata dalam bahasa Nahuatl, [popōca] Galat: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (bantuan), yang berarti "berasap", dan [tepētl] Galat: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (bantuan), yang berarti "gunung", sehingga secara harfiah berarti Gunung Berasap.

Gunung ini terletak 70 km dari Ciudad de Mexico.
