Penyensoran internet adalah kontrol atau penekanan apa yang dapat diakses, diterbitkan, atau dilihat di Internet yang dilakukan oleh para regulator, atau atas inisiatif mereka sendiri. Para individual dan organisasi mengadakan penyensoran diri untuk alasan moral, agama atau bisnis, untuk menyelaraskan norma-norma masyarakat, karena intimidasi, atau kekhawatiran akan hukum atau konsekuensi lainnya.[1]
