Temah, Canggikh, Uman? Apakah itu?

Hai, mungkin sebagian orang [sebagian besar] masih sebatas dalam memahami Bahasa Ogan sebagai bahasa yang "mirip" dengan Palembang dan hanya mengganti kosakata dengan belakang "a" menjadi "e pepet" atau "schwa", Padahal Bahasa Ogan lebih dari sekedar itu. Kalau permasalahan serupa seperti itu bisa ditemukan dalam Bahasa Sasak, Bahasa Bali bahkan Jawa. Bahasa Ogan memiliki banyak kosakata yang sebenarnya lebih berbeda dari Bahasa Melayu bahkan tertukar. Meski banyak kemiripan, kesenjangan perbedaan juga besar.

Seperti pada contoh kosakata yang Saya letakkan pada laman ini yaitu "temah", :"canggikh" dan "uman". Ketiga kata ini bermakna "maksud/kehendak", "bergaul (kalau dijadikan kata sifat ia menjadi "keren/bergaya", sinonimnya di Bahasa Ogan juga "kiloh") dan "punya/milik", ketiga-tiganya sangat umum ditemukan dalam percakapan sehari-hari Bahasa Ogan.

Kalau kosakata yang tertukar? Banyak. Contoh sedikit saja yaitu kata "kandas" dan "bedak", "kandas" di Bahasa Ogan dialek Ulu memiliki arti "dekat" bukan "gagal, atau kapal terantuk" sementara "bedak" memiliki arti "berhenti atau selesai" bukan sebuah "perlengkapan kosmetik bubuk" Ogantulin (bicara) 13 September 2022 12.08 (UTC)
