Michel Devoret yang lahir pada 5 Maret 1953 adalah seorang fisikawan Prancis dan F. W. Beinecke Professor of Applied Physics di Universitas Yale. Ia juga memegang jabatan sebagai Director of the Applied Physics Nanofabrication Lab di Yale.[1]
Pada saat ini, ia menjabat sebagai Kepala Ilmuwan untuk Perangkat Keras Kuantum di Google Quantum AI.[2] Ia dikenal karena pengembangan berbagai arsitektur komputasi kuantum superkonduktor, termasuk kuantronium, transmon, dan fluksonium.
Pada tahun 2025, Devoret, Clarke, dan Martinis dianugerahi Hadiah Nobel Fisika atas penemuan bersama mereka tentang penerowongan mekanika kuantum makroskopis dan kuantisasi energi dalam rangkaian listrik.[3]
