Mark Robert Michael Wahlberg (lahir 5 Juni 1971),[1] sebelumnya dikenal dengan nama panggungnya Marky Mark,[2] adalah seorang aktor, produser, dan mantan rapper Amerika. Karyanya sebagai pemeran utama mencakup genre komedi, drama, dan aksi. Dia telah menerima beberapa penghargaan, termasuk BAFTA Award, dan nominasi untuk dua Academy Awards, tiga Golden Globe Awards, dan sembilan Primetime Emmy Awards.
Wahlberg lahir di Boston. Semasa mudanya, ia terlibat dalam sejumlah serangan kekerasan dan bermotif rasial, yang mengakibatkan hukuman pidana. Ia merupakan putra bungsu dari sembilan bersaudara,[3] termasuk aktor Robert dan penyanyi Donnie. Ibunya, Alma Elaine (Donnelly), merupakan seorang karyawan bank dan asisten perawat, sementara ayahnya, Donald E. Wahlberg, Sr., merupakan seorang sopir pengiriman barang.[4][5][6] Orang tuanya bercerai pada tahun 1982, dan setelah itu, ia berbagi waktunya dengan mereka.[7][8] Ayahnya merupakan keturunan Swedia dan Irlandia, sementara ibunya merupakan keturunan Irlandia, Britania Raya dan Prancis-Kanada.[9] Dari ibunya, ia berhubungan dengan penulis Nathaniel Hawthorne.[10] Ia memiliki pendidikan Katolik Roma[11][12] dan belajar di Copley Square High School di Newbury Street, Boston.
