Maria Petronella Gerarda Koopmans (lahir 21 September 1956) adalah seorang virologis Belanda yang merupakan Kepala Erasmus MC Department of Viroscience. Risetnya meliputi penyakit menular darurat, norovirus dan kedokteran hewan. Pada 2018, ia dianugerahi Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) Stevin Prize. Ia bertugas pada kelompok penasehat saintifik Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia.
