Laut Levant

Laut Levant atau Laut Syam (Arab: بحر الشام, translit: baḥr as-Shām , atau Arab: البحر الشامي, translit: al-Baḥr as-Shāmī ; Turki: Levanten Denizi; Yunani: Θάλασσα του Λεβάντε, translit. Thálassa tou Levánte; Ibrani: הים הלבנטיני, translit. ha-Yam ha-Levantíni) adalah bagian paling timur dari Laut Mediterania.[1][2]

It is modified flowing eastward, passes the Sicily Channel and the Ionian Sea and enters the easternmost part of the Mediterranean, the Levantine Sea.
