Seni rupa modern

Seni rupa modern meliputi karya artistik yang dihasilkan pada periode yang terbentang dari 1860an sampai 1970an, dan menandakan gaya dan filsafat seni rupa yang dihasilkan pada masa itu.^[1] Istilah tersebut biasanya dikaitkan dengan seni rupa dimana tradisi-tradisi masa lampau tenggelam dalam jiwa eksperimentasi.^[2]
