Emirates adalah sebuah maskapai penerbangan yang berpusat di Bandara Internasional Dubai, Dubai, Uni Emirat Arab. Maskapai ini mengalami perkembangan pesat sekitar tahun 200an di saat maskapai lain berjuang untuk bertahan dari kebangkrutan. Emirates sekarang melayani berbagai tujuan di Timur Tengah, Timur Jauh, India, Afrika, Eropa, dan Amerika Utara.
Sejarah
Emirates didirikan Mei 1985 oleh Pemerintah Dubai dan beroperasi sejak 25 Oktober 1985 dengan penerbangan ke Bombay, Delhi, dan Karachi. Tujuan di Eropa ditambahkan pada Juli 1987 dan ke Timur Jauh pada Juni 1990.
