Reporters Without Borders atau RWB (bahasa Perancis: Reporters sans frontières, bahasa Spanyol: Reporteros Sin Fronteras atau RSF) adalah organisasi nonpemerintah internasional yang melakukan penelitian mengenai dan mendukung kebebasan pers.

Walaupun kecil, RWB telah diakui karena sering menerbitkan laporan mengenai kebebasan pers. RWB menyatakan bahwa mereka terilhami oleh Article 19 dari Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948, yang mengatakan bahwa semua orang memiliki "hak kebebasan berpendapat dan berekspresi" dan juga hak untuk "mencari, menerima dan memberikan" informasi dan ide "tanpa batas". Hal ini telah ditegaskan oleh beberapa perjanjian dan deklarasi di seluruh dunia. Di Eropa, hak ini dimasukkan ke dalam Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms 1950.

Peringkat kebebasan pers 2005

RWB mengumpulkan dan menerbitkan peringkat tahunan negara-negara berdasarkan kajian mereka tentang catatan kebebasan pers. Negara-negara kecil, seperti Malta dan Andorra tidak dimasukkan ke dalam laporan ini. Laporan untuk tahun 2005 diterbitkan pada bulan Oktober 2005.

Laporan ini didasarkan atas jajak pendapat yang dikirim ke organisasi-organisasi partner dari RWB (14 kelompok kebebasan berpendapat di 5 benua) dan 130 koresponden di seluruh dunia, dan juga dari jurnalis, peneliti, jurists dan aktivis hak asasi manusia.

Survey ini menanyakan pertanyaan-pertanyaan tentang serangan langsung terhadap jurnalis dan media dan juga sumber-sumber tekanan tidak langsung akan pers bebas. RWB hanya memberi peringkat untuk kebebasan pers dan bukan kualitas jurnalisme. Karena metodologi survey ini didasarkan oleh pendapat pribadi, sering ada kontras dalam peringkat suatu negara dari satu tahun ke tahun berikutnya. Peringkat ini juga menyertakan tekanan dari kelompok-kelompok nonpemerintah, misalnya kelompok militan Basque ETA di Spanyol atau Mafia di Rusia, atau tekanan-tekanan lain yang membahayakan kebebasan pers.

Earlier tonight 2nd Jan 2009 one man came to near a Boutique Hotel where I was being terrorised mentally by Mr Baxter and his Heroin dealers. The man held out handcuffs. he was nothing to do with any Police force he is a criminal and should be questioned concerning the location of Mr Baxter.
