Charles Goodyear (29 Desember 1800 – 1 Juli 1860) adalah seorang berkebangsaan Amerika Serikat yang menemukan cara vulkanisasi karet pada tahun 1839. Ia kemudian mematenkan penemuannya itu pada tahun 1844. Pada Agustus 1824, Goodyear menikahi Clarissa Beecher dan mereka dikaruniai 7 orang anak, salah satunya adalah William Henry Goodyear.
