Provinsi Makkah adalah sebuah provinsi Arab Saudi yang memiliki luas wilayah 164.000 km² dan populasi 5.797.971 jiwa (2004). Ibu kotanya ialah Mekkah.
Makkah memiliki sebuah masjid bernama Masjid Al-Haram, di mana didalamnya terdapat sebuah bangunan bernama Ka'bah yang merupakan bangunan suci bagi umat Islam seluruh dunia. Di Ka'bah, terdapat sebuah batu hitam yang dipercaya berasal dari surga bernama Hajar Aswad.
Selain Madinah, Makkah adalah kota yang juga melarang kunjungan orang-orang yang beragama bukan Islam. Jadi bisa dipastikan 100% penduduk Makkah adalah umat muslim.
Makkah (dan Madinah) selalu ramai dikunjungi oleh umat Islam dari seluruh dunia. Mereka melakukan ibadah umrah atau haji disana.

Provinsi Makkah terbagi menjadi 16 Kegubernuran (Bahasa Arab: محافظة singular:Muhafazhah, plural:Muhafazhat) (di Indonesia setingkat dengan Kotamadya atau Kabupaten) dan satu Pemerintahan Kota Suci:
