Bristol Blenheim adalah pesawat pengebom ringan yang awalnya dirancang sebagai pesawat komersil dengan nama Type 142. Walaupun dirancang sebagai pengebom, pesawat ini juga dapat melakukan peran lain seperti pesawat tempur jarak jauh, pesawat patroli maritim dan pesawat tempur malam selagi menunggu pengiriman Bristol Beaufighter dalam jumlah banyak. Pesawat ini juga digunakan untuk menyerang pangkalan-pangkalan udara yang dijadikan Luftwaffe sebagai basis untuk menyerang Inggris.
