Sungai Murray (Inggris: Murray River atau River Murray[n 1]) adalah sungai terpanjang di Australia, dengan panjang 2.508 kilometer (1.558 mi).[1] Sungai Murray berasal dari pegunungan Alpen Australia, melewati sisi barat pegunungan tertinggi di Australia, dan kemudian berkelok-kelok di dataran pedalaman Australia, membentuk perbatasan antara negara bagian New South Wales dan Victoria saat mengalir ke arah barat laut ke Australia Selatan. Sungai itu berbelok ke selatan di Morgan untuk bagian akhir sepanjang 315 kilometer (196 mi), mencapai laut di Danau Alexandrina.
Air dari Sungai Murray mengalir melalui beberapa danau terminal yang berfluktuasi dalam salinitas (dan seringkali tawar sampai dekade baru-baru ini) termasuk Danau Alexandrina dan The Coorong sebelum bermuara melalui Murray Mouth ke bagian tenggara Samudra Hindia, yang sering disebut pada peta Australia sebagai Samudra Selatan, dekat Goolwa.[2] Meskipun mengalirkan volume air yang cukup besar sekali-kali, terutama sebelum munculnya regulasi sungai berskala besar, muaranya selalu relatif kecil dan dangkal.
