Hillsong Worship (sebelumnya Hillsong Live) adalah grup band karismatik yang berasal dari Sydney, Australia, di mana mereka mulai membuat musik pada tahun 1983 di Gereja Hillsong. Lima belas lagu mereka telah muncul di majalah Billboard Amerika Serikat, diantaranya " What a Beautiful Name ",[1] dimana lagu tersebut mewakili kesuksesan terbesar mereka hingga mendapatkan medali platinum di Amerika Serikat.[2] Band ini memiliki beberapa anggota terkenal, termasuk Darlene Zschech, Marty Sampson, Brooke Fraser, Reuben Morgan, dan Joel Houston.

Grup ini dibentuk pada tahun 1983 di luar Sydney , Australia, di mana mereka membentuk nya di Gereja Hillsong, dan sekarang mereka telah tersebar di seluruh dunia.[3] Anggota mereka telah menjalani karir yang sukses secara individu, seperti Darlene Zschech, Marty Sampson, Brooke Fraser, Reuben Morgan, dan Joel Houston.[4] Grup tersebut sebelumnya bernama Hillsong Live hingga Juni 2014, namun diganti dengan nama baru yaitu Hillsong Worship.[5]

Karier Album[sunting | sunting sumber]

Hillsong Worship merilis album pertamanya yakni Spirit and Truth pada 1988, kemudian, Show Your Glory pada 1990,[6] The Power of Your Love pada 1992, Stone's Been Rolled Away pada 1993, People Just Like Us pada 1994, Friends in High Places pada tahun 1995, Shout to the Lord (album pertama mereka bekerja sama dengan Integrity Music sebagai bagian dari serial Hosanna! Music) pada tahun 1996.

Grup ini juga telah memenangkan dua belas tangga album di tangga lagu majalah Billboard, di mana ada penempatan di Top Christian Album dan tangga lagu Heatseekers Albums yaitu For All You've Done, God He Reigns, dan Mighty to Save. Album mereka telah direkam oleh label Hillsong Music, Sony Music, Integrity Music, Epic Records, Columbia Records, dan Sparrow Records.[7]
