Haptista adalah kelompok protista yang terdiri atas centrohelid dan haptophyte. Berdasarkan kajian filogenomik, Haptista bersama dengan Ancoracysta twista membentuk klad saudari bagi TSAR supergrup, meskipun beberapa analisis juga menunjukkan bahwa kelompok ini mungkin merupakan saudari dari Cryptista (+Archaeplastida).[1][2][3][4] Dengan demikian, Haptista dipandang sebagai salah satu cabang paling awal yang memisahkan diri dalam kelompok besar Diaphoretickes.
