Gordon Meredith Lightfoot Jr. CC OOnt (17 November 1938 – 1 Mei 2023) adalah seorang penyanyi dan pengarang lagu berkebangsaan Kanada. Dia menjadi yang terkenal saat menyanyikan lagu-lagu utamanya seperti "Black Day in July", "Bitter Green", "If You Could Read My Mind", "Sundown", "Rainy Day People", "Early Morning Rain", dan "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald". Dia dilahirkan di Orillia, Ontario, Kanada. Berkarier di dunia musik sejak tahun 1962.
Lightfoot meninggal di Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre di Toronto pada 1 Mei 2023, pada usia 84 tahun.[1] Kesehatannya yang menurun menyebabkan dia membatalkan turnya tiga minggu sebelumnya.[2]
