Gideon Rose adalah penyunting Foreign Affairs dan anggota Council on Foreign Relations. Ia menjabat sebagai Asisten Direktur Urusan Timur Dekat dan Asia Selatan di Dewan Keamanan Nasional sejak tahun 1994 sampai 1995 di bawah pemerintahan Clinton.[1]
