Circle Album Chart, sebelumnya dikenal sebagai Gaon Album Chart, adalah chart lagu nasional menetapkan bahwa peringkat album terlaris, termasuk album mini dan singel di Korea Selatan, yang diberikan oleh Korea Music Content Industry Association. Dimulai pelacakan penjualan sejak awal 2010 dan diluncurkan pada bulan Februari tahun yang sama sebagai bagian dari Circle Chart.[1] Grafik terdiri dari grafik pelacakan penjualan album domestik, penjualan album internasional dan penjualan album gabungan keseluruhan dalam mingguan, bulanan dan format akhir tahun.

Pada bulan Februari 2011, menerbitkan informasi tentang penjualan album baik online dan offline tahun 2010, termasuk rincian rinci dari data grafik online dan pertama kalinya bahwa penjualan album offline dirilis sejak 2008 ketika Music Industry Association of Korea berhenti mengumpulkan data.[2]

Gaon Chart yang diluncurkan pada bulan Februari 2011, merupakan bagian dari upaya Kementerian Kebudayaan, Olahraga dan Pariwisata dan Korea Music Content Industry Association untuk membuat grafik nasional untuk Korea mirip dengan Billboard dan Oricon. Grafik melacak penjualan menurut data online dan offline yang disediakan oleh web penyedia layanan berbasis musik: Bugs, Dosirak, Melon, Mnet dan Soribada; dan distributor rekaman: LOEN Entertainment, Mnet Media, SM Entertainment, Sony Music Korea, Universal Music Korea, and Warner Music Korea.[3]
