Perkembangan

Saat berbicara di Outlook Festival pada April 2023, Jarmusch mengatakan bahwa ia sedang mengerjakan film baru yang disebutnya "sangat halus; sangat tenang... lucu sekaligus sedih." Ia juga memberi isyarat bahwa filmnya mungkin tidak akan menggunakan musik.^[4] Pada November 2023, diberitakan bahwa judul filmnya adalah Father Mother Sister Brother.^[5] Diproduksi oleh Exoskeleton bersama oleh Animal Kingdom dan CG Cinema.^[6]

Casting

Pada bulan Desember 2023, dilaporkan bahwa Cate Blanchett akan menjadi pemeran utama.^[7] Pada bulan Januari 2024, foto lokasi menunjukkan Vicky Krieps dalam kostum di lokasi syuting.^[8] Pada bulan Mei 2024, Adam Driver, Mayim Bialik, Tom Waits, Charlotte Rampling, Indya Moore dan Luka Sabbat diumumkan menjadi bagian dari proyek.^[9]^[10]

Syuting
