Elizabeth Gertrude Britton

Elizabeth Gertrude Britton (née Knight) (9 Januari 1858 – 25 Februari 1934) adalah seorang ahli botani, briologi, dan pendidik Amerika. Ia dan suaminya, Nathaniel Lord Britton, memainkan peran penting dalam penggalangan dana dan pendirian New York Botanical Garden. Ia adalah salah satu pendiri lembaga pendahulu American Bryological and Lichenological Society. Ia adalah seorang aktivis untuk perlindungan bunga liar, yang menginspirasi kegiatan cabang lokal dan pengesahan undang-undang.
