English: Chalk and chainmen secure a Republic of Singapore Air Force Eurocopter AS332 Super Puma to the flight deck of dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD-49) during deck landing qualifications (DLQs) as part of the Singapore stage of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2007. DLQs were conducted to enhance the interoperability between the U.S. and Singapore navies. CARAT is an annual series of bilateral maritime training exercises between the United States and six Southeast Asian nations designed to build relationships and enhance the operational readiness of the participating forces.
