Arthur Cayley

Arthur Cayley

Arthur Cayley (16 Agustus 1821 - 26 Januari 1895) merupakan seorang ahli matematika berkebangsaan Inggris. Dia merupakan orang pertama yang menemukan rumus matriks. Pada usia 17 tahun, dia tinggal di Trinity College, Cambridge. Cayley berhasil menemukan berbagai macam rumus senyawa kimia. Dia berhasil menemukan Teorema Cayley.

Dia wafat pada tahun 1895.
