Komputer Altair 8800 dengan sistem cakram liuk 8 inci

Altair 8800 adalah komputer pribadi (Personal Computer) pertama di dunia pada tahun 1975. Altair berbentuk kit yang harus dirakit sendiri, dan dibuat oleh perusahaan bernama MITS dipimpin oleh Ed Roberts.

Altair dilengkapi dengan mikroprosesor Intel 8080 dan memori 256 byte. Bahasa pemrograman untuk Altair adalah BASIC yang dibuat oleh Bill Gates dan Paul Allen.
