Thomas Hughes (20 Oktober 1822 – 22 Maret 1896) adalah pengacara dan penulis berkebangsaan Inggris. Karyanya yang paling terkenal adalah novelnya Tom Brown's School Days (1857), suatu karya semi-otobiografi dengan latar Rugby School, di mana ia bersekolah. Novel ini dilanjutkan oleh sekuel selanjutnya, Tom Brown at Oxford (1861).
