Papa Roach merupakan grup musik asal California, Amerika Serikat yang beraliran rock modern dengan memadukan unsur hip-hop, groove-funk dan hardcore yang mengambil Faith No More dan Primus sebagai sumber inspirasi. Grup ini terbentuk pada tahun 1993, di sebuah kota kecil di kawasan Vacaville, California, Amerika Serikat. Papa Roach dirintis oleh Coby Dick (Jacoby Shaddix), Jerry Horton, Dave Buckner dan Will James. Papa Roach merupakan grup musik yang termasuk cepat sekali dikenal. Bahkan mereka bisa mendapat kesempatan mendukung beberapa pertunjukan konser macam Deftones dan Incubus. Pada tahun 1996, Will James keluar digantikan oleh Tobin Esperance, mantan roadracenya Papa Roach.

Setahun kemudian, tepatnya bulan Februari, mereka lantas merilis album debut berjudul Old Friends From Young Years yang direkam di E.S.P. Studios, di Pittsburgh, California, AS. Album itu mendapat sambutan yang cukup baik dan membukakan kesempatan bagi Papa Roach untuk berkiprah lebih luas terutama saat mengikat kontrak dengan Dreamworks Records. Pada tahun 2000, Papa Roach merilis album Infest yang lantas melejitkan Lagu “Last Resort” dan “Broken Home”. Album ini mencapai penjualan triple platinum. Dua tahun kemudian, vokalis Coby Dick mengganti namanya jadi Jacoby Shaddix. Album yang pernah dirilis oleh Papa Roach adalah The Paramour Sessions, Getting Away With Murder, LOVEHATETRAGEDY, INFEST dan Old Friends From Young Years.
