Me at the zoo adalah video pertama yang diunggah ke YouTube. Video ini diunggah pukul 20:27 hari Sabtu, 23 April 2005 oleh Jawed Karim, salah satu pendiri situs ini, dengan nama pengguna "jawed".[1][2][3][4][5] The Observer menyebut video ini "berkualitas rendah". Video tersebut direkam oleh Yakov Lapitsky di San Diego Zoo dan menampilkan Karim di depan gajah. Ia di situ menjelaskan betapa menariknya "belalai [gajah] yang sangat, sangat, sangat panjang".
