Johnny Depp (lahir 9 Juni 1963 terlahir dengan nama John Christopher Depp II) adalah seorang aktor asal Amerika Serikat yang pernah dinominasikan dalam Academy Award. Ia terkenal karena pandai memainkan beraneka ragam tokoh-tokoh dengan sifat-sifat yang berbeda.

Karier Film
Johnny memerankan Willy Wonka, pemilik perusahaan cokelat dalam Charlie and The Chocolate Factory yang juga dibintangi oleh Helena Bonham Carter. Pada tahun 2004 Johnny bermain dalam film thriller psikologi Secret Window yang merupakan adaptasi dari novel dengan judul yang sama karangan Stephen King.Sutradara Tim Burton untuk kali ketiga mengajak dia bermain dalam Alice in Wonderland sebagai Mad Hatter. Ia juga memerankan peran sebagai Jack Sparrow, tokoh utama dalam seri film Pirates of Carribean

Johnny Depp dikenal perannya sebagai detektif dalam serial 21 Jump Streets yang pernah ditayangkan RCTI.
Kehidupan Pribadi
Johnny pernah menjalin asmara dengan aktris Hollywood yang merupakan lawan mainnya dalam Edward's Scissorhand.Setelah hubungan mereka retak Johnny mengencani supermodel Inggris Kate Moss namun hubungan ini pun tidak bertahan. Hubungan kasihnya yang terakhir dengan penyanyi Vanessa Paradis, dan mereka telah dikarunia 2 anak tanpa pernikahan.Sebelum tinggal bersama dengan Vanessa, Depp pernah menikah dengan Lori Anne Allison yang berprofesi sebagai make up artis. Rumah tangga pasangan ini tak bertahan lama. Keduanya bercerai setelah tiga tahun menikah.[1]
