Homoseksualitas semakin ditoleransi di Filipina.[1] Namun, toleransi ini terganggu oleh pengaruh kuat gereja Katolik dan Machismo.
Di Filipina terdapat berbagai organisasi hak asasi gay. Organisasi hak asasi gay utama di Filipina adalah Progay-Philippines yang didirikan tahun 1993. Parade gay, lesbian, biseksual dan transgender pertama di Filipina diadakan pada tanggal 26 Juni 1994 di Quezon Memorial Circle.
