Escudo adalah mata uang Timor Portugis antara tahun 1959 hingga tahun 1976. Ia menggantikan pataca pada tingkat sebesar 5,6 escudo = 1 Pataca dan setara dengan Escudo Portugis. Mata uang ini digantikan oleh rupiah setelah Timor Timur diduduki oleh Indonesia. Escudo ini dibagi menjadi 100 centavos.
